Course Description: This is our longest running course. It is suitable for those with some experience of either creative writing or haiku already, as it is quite advanced and the feedback quite technical, but it's still welcoming and inclusive. Participants submit two haiku poems four times over the course (total 8 poems over two and a half months) and may also add three rewritten poems for final comments during that time. Each session's prompts are accessed online. Feedback is sent by email, with participants reading Alan's commentary on each others' poems as well as their own in a group learning process.
Cost: £190 (approximately US$240)
Early Bird Rate: £180 (approximately US$227) if booked by end of 4th April 2024
I learned a lot, especially about the power of "the". Great fun and educational. I’m looking forward to my next course. I’m learning new ways to enhance the writing of
my memoir.

As always, a great course I take regularly that's my key framework for writing haiku, and without which I would be less active and engaged. Thank you Call of the Page team for facilitating my growing skills and learning as a writer. And it's wonderful to read everyone elses poems and creative process, makes a real difference.
Thank you for an excellent class with stimulating prompts. I enjoyed reading everyone's work throughout this course.
