Thank you for your interest in Call of the Page. Through the buttons above you'll be able to navigate around the website as usual to our international pages. But for this weekend, our front pages are given over to Chippenham's Fringe Feb. We are delighted to be a part of this happening in our home town, and we hope that you will enjoy these pages whether you are local to Chippenham in the West of England, and are able to pop along, or just enjoy from afar some pictures of haiku, word and general 'the arts' eccentricity!
UPDATE: We had a fab time at Fringe Feb. Thank you to everyone who hunted out the haiku signs, or called in to the letter typing service at the Museum. Thanks also to Laura and everyone at Chippenham Borough Lands Charity, to Charlie for his unparalleled artistry, and of course to Chippenham Museum for hosting us, including Mel, Claire, Elaine, and the Saturday volunteers. That was the first Fringe Feb, what a start, and we're looking forward already to what may happen next year. Pics here soon!

Call of the Page are taking part in two events. Alan Summers in conjunction with artist Charlie Graham-May of Rag and Bone Arts has been working on haiku-like street signs that are now up around the town. More information about that, and finding the signs on the Haiku at Fringe Feb page.
As part of Fringe Feb, on Saturday 29th, from 12.30 to 3.30 pm Karen Hoy from Call of the Page is offering a hand-typed letter service, paper and stamps provided (although in the interests of paper conservation, if you have some old-fashioned letter-sized paper and/or envelopes, plain or patterned, please bring them along!) Like many of the events at Fringe Feb, this is FREE. And like many of the events at Fringe Feb, this is no longer going to be on the streets, but indoors for weatherproofing. Therefore, the letter-typing service has been relocated inside Chippenham Museum, where we are very happy to be! Many thanks to the Museum for welcoming us at short notice. You can read more about weather changes on the Chippenham Borough Lands Charity website here.
Other wonderful and colourful events are all around Chippenham town centre. They include dance, theatre, street music, star-gazing, markets, knitting and more! More info on the CBLC website here.
