LEVEL:  This course is suitable for people who already have some experience of haiku or creative writing.  It is quite technical.  If you are new to creative writing you may prefer to wait for our Haiku for Beginners course which includes introductory reading and appreciation work as well as writing exercises.

The Haiku Group Course starts on September 15th 2015.  On that day, you will be sent or given access to introductory course materials which will include a writing prompt.  Students submit three haiku three times over the duration of the course, totalling nine haiku, which will each receive in-depth written feedback from Alan. Everybody is encouraged to read all feedback from the tutor, to be able to learn from each other's work as well.  At the end of the course, around the middle of November 2015, participants are invited to take part in a short Skype or phone call to answer any outstanding questions about haiku, or about their work and revisions.
