Where I'm Writing From

Your Call of the Page Summer School includes several sessions called "Where I'm Writing From". Across these sessions, that all delegates are invited to attend*, you'll be able to choose one that includes your own showcase of work. You will be invited to send 3 or 4 photos (in jpg format) and 3 or 4 poems of your own to represent you. Don't be shy about including your face in one or two of these so that we can see you in your habitat! We'll organise the pictures and poems ahead and be ready to screenshare them, while you talk about the place you are writing from, and answer questions about your writing life and your work.

In the meantime, to give you an idea of what we have in mind, at the bottom of this page are Alan's "where I'm writing from" pictures. He simply took an iPhone out on his daily travels, and this is what represents "where I'm writing from" for Alan.

We're mindful that this is not an "in-person" summer school. But we're excited to see participants get to know each other, and each other's work and inspirations, in this way.

* Worried about missing some WIWF sessions in your time zone? Fear not, for those participants who have agreed, we'll record the video of each session so that they can be seen at another time in the Summer School schedule that suits you.
